Thus, throughout the continent, science institutions, scientists reoriented their priorities and began to work to bring solutions to our region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #ffffff;\">At CILAC we want to make these initiatives visible and highlight the importance of having capabilities <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">scientists in the region. In situations like these, we cannot sit back and wait for the answer to come from outside, and a response in line with the urgency of the case is not generated in a few days either (the training of a scientist takes years, and the formation of a scientific system takes decades. ). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Occasions like these show the relevance of having science developed on the continent.
