The call <em>Ubirajara jubatus<\/em> had a mane of hair-like structures and <strong>at the same time it presented two completely unique features<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 1 --><\/p>\n<p>About 110 million years ago, along the banks of an ancient lagoon in what is now northeastern Brazil, it walked on two legs and was the size of a chicken. AND <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0195667120303736?via%3Dihub\">has just been described<\/a> in the magazine <em>Cretaceous Research<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- BREAK 2 --><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Two unique features<\/h2>\n<p>On the one hand, <em>Ubirajara jubatus<\/em> it must have displayed a dense crest of primitive feather-like structures, more like down than anything else. Many dinosaurs had feathers.
