Es el caso de unos restos de hom\u00ednidos recuperados a finales de los a\u00f1os 70 en Cova Simanya (Sant Lloren\u00e7 Savall, Barcelona) y conservados en el Museo de Arqueolog\u00eda de Catalu\u00f1a (MAC). M\u00e1s de cuarenta a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, redescubiertos de forma accidental, han sido identificados por los investigadores como pertenecientes al menos a tres individuos neandertales: una mujer, un adolescente de unos 11 o 12 a\u00f1os y un ni\u00f1o de 7 u 8.
