Cosmology, elementary particles, optics, new materials and quantum communication are the fields of physics that have been awarded the BBVA Foundation's Leonardo scholarships in 2023. The objective of this special call is to finance each researcher with 40,000 euros, focusing specifically on physics because of “the particularly productive character of the scientific community,” explains the Foundation.
