A row of 47 Elon Musk satellites will fly through the Spanish skies again this weekend

A procession of lights crossed the skies of Spain on Thursday night, with sightings announced on social networks from the center of the peninsula to Balearic Islands, going by Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. Some users, astonished, wondered what these “UFOs” in the sky were. It was a new caravan of satellites from Starlink, a division of SpaceX, the American company of tycoon Elon Musk that offers high-speed internet from space. These rows of lights are visible shortly after launch and then disperse upon reaching their operating orbit, about 550 kilometers ground. The company launched 47 satellites this Thursday at noon, local time, from the Vanderberg Base, in California (United States).
