Remains of the space shuttle 'Challenger' found at the bottom of the sea

Divers from a documentary team searching for the wreckage of a World War II plane off the coast of Florida have found a portion of the space shuttle Challenger, which exploded shortly after its launch in 1986. As confirmed by NASA in a release, Divers contacted the US space agency after spotting a large, clearly modern object covered mostly in sand on the ocean floor and bearing the shuttle's distinctive tiles. “This discovery gives us the opportunity to pause, once again, to elevate the legacies of the seven pioneers we lost and reflect on how this tragedy changed us,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. It is the first time in 25 years that a piece of the Challenger.
