The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published an update to its guidelines on Sunday night in which they indicated that the airway is the main way of contagion of the coronavirus. This is a position that agrees with the scientific evidence that is accumulating in this regard. But on Monday afternoon they withdrew that update, warning that it was a draft published in error and that its wording should be polished. A senior representative of the organization assures: “[That version] does not reflect our current state of knowledge,” as collected Washington Post.
