Neanderthals, a human species that lived for hundreds of thousands of years in Eurasia, spoke in a very similar way to ours, with a complex and efficient language. This is the main conclusion of an international team led by researchers from the Chair of Evolutionary Otoacoustics at HM Hospitales and the University of Alcalá in Madrid, who have carried out laborious 3D reconstructions of the ear of these extinct hominids.
