From October 22 to 24 in Panama City, the II Edition of the successful Open Science Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean was held.
The Forum had the participation of high authorities from 25 countries, where more than 200 expert panelists in science, technology, business innovation, State policies and citizenship dialogued and exchanged ideas, with the aim of developing joint policies that promote achieving in the region the Sustainable Development Goals established in the 2030 Agenda.
CILAC had more than 100 activities that took place at the Wyndham Albrook Mall Hotel in Panama City, in addition to 20 parallel events and activities in the city, within the framework of Science Week in Panama.
The Forum had a great impact on social networks, quickly becoming one of the most discussed topics in the country during its first two days.
