Within the framework of the Open Science Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean, CILAC, on September 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. -Montevideo time- the virtual event on the Regional Consultation for Latin America and the Caribbean on the Recommendation of UNESCO on Open Science.
The day is scheduled to hold 3 panels: Open Access, Open Data and Citizen Science, which will be led by prominent international speakers. A group of selected panelists, from leading institutions on the subject in Latin America and the Caribbean, will also make additional contributions, throughout the day and transversally to the panels, after the speakers' interventions. The panelists will then have the opportunity to present their position in relation to what was stated through a brief and concise participation.
The event will be broadcast through YouTube, for those who want to follow the discussion and make contributions or questions through the chat. Questions will be channeled to the panelists and comments will be collected to enrich the recommendation process.
