From April 26 to 28, the third edition of the CILAC Forum will take place: the largest scientific knowledge event in the region and an opportunity to debate, plan and monitor the role of science in the new normal. Find out about the activities that will take place during the Forum!
Considered as the regional hub of science, technology and innovation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, CILAC 2021 will take place virtually, on a platform where you can access more than 100 activities carried out throughout the week, which will include high-level tables, thematic sessions, parallel events, workshops and exhibitions, among others.
More than 100 renowned speakers from around the world will address the central themes of the Forum, including the ethics of artificial intelligence, open science and the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy and the growing risks of climate change, contextualized to the pandemic generated by COVID-19 and how the role of science, technology and innovation took center stage in this context.

CILAC is an initiative created and led by UNESCO Montevideo, with the IDB, SEGIB, OEI, RICYT, AUGM and CUIB as regional partners. For its third edition, it has the support of the government of the Argentine Republic as organizer and host, through its Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, and the government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
